= News =

ISGC planing ongoing, slides are getting prepared. David's slides on aCT will be shown by Florido. Oslo's HPC facility is getting shut down, infrastructure is switching to OpenStack and some limited allocation on Oracle Cloud, so Maiken is busy for the coming weeks. An opportunity to test elastic cluster, too. Both Jenkins (http://158.37.63.177/job/arc-sca-pipeline/job/master/) and Django (http://158.39.75.139/webhook/) are set and ready for testing; time trends are still missing (Elasticsearch would be needed to parse logs). Valgrind should be added, other suggestions are welcomed.
David worked on xrootd implementtaion, improving performance and functionality. From ATLAS sites jamboree, some big sites move to HTCondor as batch system and hence HTCondor CE.
Python 3.4 to Python 3.6 move causes some issues with EPEL7 builds.
Repositories are still in works, testing.
There's a large number of open sockets on the CE, requiring changes in kernel settings. Some people believe it needs to be fixed (a file handle leak somewhere), while others think it should be documented. Maiken will sort it out with Christian.
New ARC map, NG conference registrations are open. There is some discussion on Scientific Software Institute in Europe, still inconclusive.

= Releases =

5.4.4 - some merge requests are yet to be tested and ported, hopefully will be in the branch by Wednesday.
6.0 - CentOS6 nightlies are coming; more details will be discussed on Wednesday. The python 3.6 issue still causes troubles, as the necessary package is not available in all Fedora mirrors. After a long discussion, the conclusion is to have both python 3.4 and 3.6 in the specfile, this will not affect anything ATM. In future, we will only use 3.6, once it is available everywhere. Mattias will provide the patch.

= Bugs =

* 3796 is actually fixed
* 3799 - a feature request
