Present: Maiken, Andrii, Florido, Aleksandr, David and Anders on chat i) Status of release: - Andrii and Maiken installed nightlies and there is no reported problem - No main blocker for release, rc6 will be tagged for all testers to check and then we go for final - ACTIONS - Anders builds packages for rc6 - Testers can either grab nightlies of wait for rc6 packages to test - ACTION: Andrej test results are most important due to his non-standard setup - ONLY BLOCKER for deployment is Anders signing certificates issue!!! - ACTION: Anders still needs to come with a solution - No need to report anything in release notes for the ongoing arc6+Cpndor-production issues, since David tests did not encounter any problem ii) Other - Suggestion to stop building nightlies for old distributions, or at least remove documentation. This includes - any Ubuntu < 14.04 (Will be out 2022) - 12.04 is out of support since april. - any Fedora < 12 - Requires further discussion - Documentation for the moment will be untagged but there can be a plan for a revision cycle and versioning so that we can publish versioned releases. This is foreseen to happen only when we consider the documentation "complete"
