6 February 2018, 14:10 - 15:15

Present: Anders, David, Balazs, Mattias, Maiken, Aleksandr, Oxana

== News

David tested aCT submission to any ATLAS site, it mostly worked (that included CREAM sites via Condor-G).
Mattias reports that someone tried to installed UMD on PPC64, failed because of dependencies in ARC which had packages built from same RPMs but with different versions in different repos - nothing to fix.
Aleksandr is fixing bugs, will commit tonight.
Balazs observed that CRIC ran into the usual VO representation problem, so is not going to be a simple system either.
Oxana and Maiken discussed with Abdulrahman updates in Condor back-ends enabling native containerisation support and an opportunity of making ARC-CE a PRACE service, possibly making it a project. Oxana also met a CS expert in code analysis, can evolve into a future collaboration.
Maiken tries to debug ARC 5.4.2 problems on Triolith, which still needs a restart every 8 hours for reasons unknown (something with DTR).

== Bugs

There's an increased activity in GGUS, not very clear to whom to assign JURA/APEL issues. Balazs and Oxana will sort it out.

== Git

Some testing, people should start using it, so a switching deadline is needed. Proposed date is March 1. Maiken will make an announcement.

== Releases

ARC 5 bugfixes will probably be released from SVN.

== A.O.B.

Anders will drop certificate-based authentication for Bugzilla.
Ubuntu build problems are not related to ARC.
