In accurate predictions for Large Hadron Collider (LHC) processes, the inclusion of higher-order corrections to the hard interaction is needed. The full automation of the computation of NLO corrections in QCD has been achieved several years ago. Only very recently, the first results for automated NLO EW corrections have appeared. In this talk, results will be discussed that have been obtained within the MadGraph5_aMC@NLO framework, which aims at the automation of the complete-NLO predictions. In particular, the NLO QCD, NLO EW, and more subleading NLO corrections to top pair and four-top production, possibly in association with a vector boson, are presented. The very non-universal behaviour of the subleading NLO corrections and, especially, their unexpectedly large effect to some of these processes will be discussed in detail.
