We followed up the ARC6.0.0 TODO list from the Umea retreat:

 

• Configuring the REST interface: rename [arex/ws/emies] to [arex/ws/jobs] AND use that block to enable emies AND REST interfaces. accepted by Aleksandr.

• Client SDK to report walltime & totalwalltime consistently (backward incompatibility). Check that arc6 client reports multiplied totalwalltime value for ARC5 servers as well (as it is in arc6 code now).:  to be tested by Andrii. no coding required

• implement the archivettl functionality for JURA: ongoing implementation by Ievgen

• Deployment of TOP-level archery node in nordugrid.org: to be deployed by Petter. No coding required

• introduce aliases, cleanup in the CLI and/or sdk for naming submission ports. Proposal to be worked out by Andrii, Balazs, Florido. Implementation by Martin may not be there before 6.0.0b2

• Map_to_pool configurable limit (10 days). Accepted by Aleksandr. The implementation should use an extra file in the pooldirectory and not an extra parameter in arc.conf

• Arc.conf: Make LRMS mandatory and not defaulting to fork. DONE

• Arc.conf: Add blacklisting capability with denyacces: After some voting the denyaccess extra config option will be introduced.

• Arc.conf: Allowaccess and denyaccess should be multivalued

• Do something with [arex/ganglia] and gangliarc. Maiken & Dyma

• Introduce explicit failure if the mapping procedure fails in a mapping rule in the mapping block: it is because we assume one-to-one relation between mapping rules and authgroups. To be agree with Aleksandr

• Add warning in the validator for [gridftp/jobs] and [arex/ws/emies] blocks without allow/denyaccess. David

• Test and understand how scratchdir works on non-shared fs. Ongoing.Studied documented cases, not all combinations are covered, Requires some setup

• easy/consistent/well-documented way to obtain ARC-CE server version via SDK: (SDK extension to return ARC server version). Martin

• REST: Step-by-step REST delegation guide (with curl and or python)

• REST: Add version and remove * from the REST url

• REST: response should be in xml format

  All the REST changes to be agreed with Aleksandr

• Arc.conf: Add [custom:blockname]  exception to the validator. David

• Logfile structure: timestamps with timezone info: POSTPONED

• Arc.conf: Loglevel values should be both numbers & strings (e.g. ERROR, WARNING…). DONE

• Arcctl: Remove the arcctl config set feature: DONE

• Arcctl: unstet the RTE parameter value to/from default: DONE

• Arcctl: add test CA cleanup option: DONE

• Arcctl: add cache management: DONE

• Zeroconf: add user via a file to the [authgroup:zero] group that way not modifying arc.conf: DONE

• SDK/cli: remove the matchmaking against authorized user nordugrid schema objects:Mattias.

• Arc.conf: no spaces to be allowed in blocknames. David

• RTE: check how and RTE is behaving when it is set as default RTE and at the same time enabled to be requested by a user with a RTE parameter. Some fixes were needed DONE

• Add new parameter for [lrms] and the [queue:name] blocks called slurm_requirements. Andrej & Andrii

• Dual stack support in datadelivery profile (discovered after Umeå): David
