Balazs, Mattias, Aleksandr, Anders, David, Maiken, Oxana
= News
Mattias builds more packages for EPEL8.
Oxana started planning for the ARC Pre-GDB.
David helps someone setting ARC-CE over AFS, discovered an issue, reported in Bugzilla.
Maiken is busy recycling resources in Oslo.
Balazs advertised ARC to LDMX, which has no own infrastructure, a pilot test will be attempted, Maiken is willing to help because they have a similar use case, David and Andrej are also in.
Andrii re-wrote the accounting part of ARC, called JURA-NG, will become available with ARC 6.3. Testing still needed.
= Releases
The only problem with 6.2 is the logrotate one, reported as #3857, needs no emergency release.
In general, release notes procedures should be somehow improved to better reflect new features or other important changes.
Release preparation announcements will be sent to ng-disc.
ARC 6.3 will see JURA-NG and probably packaging changes related to ARGUS (Andrii will provide details in Gitlab). Everything can be ready by the end of this week, so release can be out in end-September. David also wants to add xrootd stuff by Aleksandr (mr 810). REST interface can also be shipped, but someone needs to review it.
Maiken proposes to start ARC-Wiki or ARC-KnowledgeBase in ARC docs.
= Bugs
People want to masquerade old components and versions in the pull-down minutes; a feature request should be submitted with detailed description.
David reminds that each new feature and/or major change must have an associated ticket in Bugzilla.
