Present: Arnaud, Joakim, Roman, Yvonne, Christian, Christophe, Caterina

Justeringsperson: Yvonne

The minutes of the last meeting are approved.

Partikeldagarna — review of abstracts.

Wednesday: start at 10.20 instead of 10.30 in order to have 160 = 8 x 20 minutes, which allows to have the following talks:

* LDMX (abstract #14)
* Low-mass DM with strong matter interactions (abstract #31)
* DM density using Gaia DR2 data (abstract #9)
* DM density at direct detection experiments (abstract #30)
* Neutrino observation with radio-technique (abstract #37) => ask to include a review of physics results and move radio-technique to the following talk.
* IceCube upgrade and Gen2 (abstract #34)
* Hyper-Kamiokande (abstract #33)
* ESSnuSB (merge abstracts #36 and #38)

=> talk to Chad and Allan to re-organise IceCube talks into one on physics results and on one detection methods + upgrade.
=> talk to Mattias and Tord to merge their two abstracts.

Wednesday: 14.00 — 16.00 = political session:

* VR+RFI (15)
* CERN Council + update strategy (20)
* (R)ECFA (15)
* IPPOG (15)
* Outreach: ATLAS open-data high-school project (8+2)
* IUPAP (15)
* ACCU (15)
* Election of the new board (15)

There is also a high-school project with ATLAS open data, we discussed whether to fit it in this session => agree to have it after IPPOG

Wednesday: 16.20 — 18.00 = ATLAS => we propose to merge the abstracts into 5 topical talks and have more specific topics turned into posters and/or presented at the ATLAS afternoon, now in place of the cancelled strategy meeting on October 4th.

* ATLAS detector operation, data-quality and object performance
* ATLAS upgrade
* Higgs physics
* Top-related (SM and BSM) physics
* Other BSM physics

From non-ATLAS people, one wants a balance between experimental talks and physics results. The proposed talks are fine. We should focus on new material though, compared to last year. For instance physics potential for HL-LHC in Sweden. Also, provide information on what Swedish groups actually do.

Thursday: 9.00 to 10.10:

* Finite temperature effects on particle decays (abstract #26)
* Algebraic geometry and Froggatt-Nielsen mechanism (abstract #21)
* Helicity-flow method (abstract #12)

+ 3 talks originally submitted as posters (abstracts #35, #32, #15) if the students prefer a talk.

All talks 10+2 minutes

Thursday 10.30 to 11.00: poster teaser talks + maybe one of the talks from the early morning if time allows…

Thursday: 16:40 to 18:00:

* ALICE (abstract #13)
* CERN SPS Beam Dump Facility (abstract #17)
* HIBEAM/NNBAR at ESS (abstract #23)
* Max IV (abstract #25)

We need to add the poster session into our agenda, but we must avoid overlap with our talks, hence stop around 17.30 => shorten the four talks to 15 minutes, i.e 12+3 minutes.

All 20-minute talks at 15+5!

Posters: #15 (to be checked) and possibly a few from ATLAS, to be discussed in connection with the ATLAS afternoon…
