== News

FIM4R had a meeting on AAI services for EOSC agreed to disagree, and did not converge on a single solution.
As of February 29, EGIIS is retired and not officially supported.
Migration of the build infrastructure onto virtualised environment is in good progress.
ACT is being migrated to Python3, work is mostly done.
Some brief input is needed for the DOMA ACCESS document regarding caching.
An early prototype for token-based authorisation is in works (using oidc-agent), can submit job using token, but datastaging still uses x509 proxies. A README with test examples will be prepared. 
Balazs will post a link to ARC-CE REST specs such that Aleksand can cross-check.

== Releases

REST and controldir restructuring are too big of changes to go into the same release, so controldir restructuring should be rather in ARC7. REST interface can be released with the next ARC6 release.

 

Regarding C++11, it can't be used in the current major release because we still support CentOS6. The proposal is to migrate to C++11 and drop support for distributions that don't support it, especially since CentOS6 EOL is in fall.
