Abstract submission is open, registration will open in ~2 weeks.

Decided not to have Nordic Physics Days and Partikeldagarna in the same week. 

Board suggests to have some overview talks for our parallel session / the joint session with astrophysics. 

Potential topics (to be expanded/condensed): 

LHC (ATLAS/ALICE Swedish activities) – note this is classified as “regional” conference

Non-Collider (LDMX, NNBAR, Xenon1T (WIMP/non-WIMP DM))

Theory (precision)

Theory (BSM phenomenology / DM)

Neutrino (HyperK, ESSNuSB, IceCube)

Astrophysics 

An email will be sent to the board to agree on the topics and make sure every community is represented. Aim to agree on talks by next meeting (early March)

Partikeldagarna

Caterina will send around the calendar with “veto weeks” to the board members, and they will distribute to their institutes / groups. 

A decision on the dates will be made at the next meeting. 

Spåtind 2022 – to be organized by Sweden

Caterina talks to someone from ATLAS that has organized to understand timelines.

Funding of IPPOG/IUPAP(C11/C4)/ECFA

To be brought up to Eva (KVA) at the next general SFS meeting.

Outreach activities

Masterclasses ATLAS Lund: February 11^th (Women & girls in science) and on March 3rd. 

Uppsala ATLAS + IceCube: April 2nd

Stockholm/KTH ATLAS: March 31, at Vetenskapens Hus (Sara, Jonas and Christian organizing)

Board members ask their groups before the next meeting if they feel the need to have their VR applications read by non-locals, different-field colleagues. 

SFS website needs a short article from our section (already used Masterclasses). Caterina ask Joachim Cederkall when we’re due this.
