== News
Barbara is interested and can take part in the client work.

DPM storage will be killed officially in a few years ~3yrs. dCache is mentioned as alternative. Ashame that ARC can not offer a light-weight storage solution (Chelonia). STORM is still around too.

SNIC feedback requested, will mention wish for support for software development.

ICU - connections with Iceland and Denmark also, so possible pan-Nordic cooperation.

Build-issues: Fedora rawhide, Mattias to be contacted.

Build storage still using arc gridftp server. Is there a way to support a "light-weight-storage" with the REST interface. Expect though that GridSite is still supported. What is possible, do we have it already with a new arc.conf block. Topic for ARC 7 meeting.

== Release
REST client package already separate package - and was a technical preview from the start. Ok for release, as only sites intentionally installing it can use it.
Balazs to contact HT-Condor and specifically inform that the REST tech. preview will be in 6.9 for their testing.

Maiken to install nightlies as of Tues 24.11 (since no new merges have been made). Will then contact Christian and Jens for installation on their sites. Will test the arc client commands with the REST interface.
If Friday is tight for release, we are in no huge rush, early next week is also fine.

== Bugs
Not discussed, except 3971 which was due to server tuning, and not ARC related.
The new FAQ/site-tuning is relevant here, so we should keep updating this page:
