Description

Abstract: In this talk, I will introduce myself and my research on electronic correlations in solid state systems, which is being done in the Division of Mathematical Physics. Electrons are responsible for many properties of solids, including the electrical conductivity and magnetism. The Coulomb interaction leads to correlations between the electrons and can lead to phases with collective electronic order. In this talk, I will focus on the correlation-driven metal-insulator transition and what dynamical mean-field theory based approaches can tell us about this transition.
