== News
ATLAS SW week, some talks mentioning a progress towards REST, and a rather confusing situation regarding tokens, mostly theoretical discussions. NDFG all-hands heard the update on ARC7. There's an idea to run a token-based pilot for a synchrotron facility. Some progress towards defining the scope of the hackathon in Amsterdam, focussing on a pilot jobs case. ARC+aCT+Rucio is a well-working combination for different use cases. There is still a demand for a lightweight SE, even simpler than a gridftp SE, to attach behind Rucio. New REST client is used for aCT, the developer is coming to the hackathon. ARC in a container is being tested on LUMI (via Docker Compose). CentOS9 test site is in the process of being set up.

No plans for any imminent release
== Autumn meetings
NorduGrid conference in September is unfeasible for many reasons, and even a technical meeting so soon after hackathon is unreasonable. A conference in November is a better option, but 2nd and 3rd week of November are to be avoided.
