Present: David, Aleksandr, Anders, Jon, Oxana
Apologies: Balazs
== News
New release manager training is ongoing.
Various troubles at different clusters: locking in Umea, crashing in Ljubljana, BOINC does both since the upgade to 5.1.2; Abel crashed as well. Reasons are unknown in most cases, needs more debugging. Aleksandr says A-REX suffers memory corruption in random places under heavy load, will investigate further with valgrind.
Anders will sign future repositories with a new SHA2 key, re-signing old packages is tricky. The key is yet to be created (not synchronised with IGTF). The trust mechanism for getting a new key into the chain is a bit tricky in Debian.
Oxana upgraded to Ubuntu LTS which removed ARC client, and couldn't install it from NorduGrid ARC aparently due to changed naming of libraries ( libarccommon3v5 : Breaks: libarccommon3). Will report a packaging bug to Mattias.
== Release
Next major release will be probably early next year, but a bugfix might be needed meanwhile, to fix A-REX recent issues. David committed one simple fix, can be used as an exercise for Maiken. There's also some fix in performance logging. Jon will start working towards an easy bugfix release. Can even be a minor release, if the db conversion tool and the core processing tool are added. David also added a new feature for Rucio. Documents also had many (but small) changes.
== Bugs
* 3468: Oxana will talk to Florido, as nobody remembers the situation
* all outstanding bugs are in infosystem
* 3579: probably won't be fixed, gets fixed by switching the database and using the conversion tool
