== News

Maiken now joins the TCG. David tried to investigate some crashes but can't find core dumps. BOINC runs 20 000 jobs at 2 CEs. Anders is busy with local infrastructure, but managed to tag and push the release anyway. Mattias packaged stuff for Fedora/EPEL and Debian, packages are now in testing. Oxana (like some others) had troubles upgrading Fedora because of the clash between EGI and NorduGrid IGTF packages. Aleksandr fixed a couple of bugs.

== Release

The release 15.03u9 has no gangliarc for Ubuntu 16.04 because some python dependency is missing. Packaging needs to be patched before gangliarc 1.0.1 is released for Ubuntu 16.04.

Someone needs to make sure it all works for OpenSSL 1.1.0, which might be tedious due to a number of small changes here and there. Mattias anticipates quite a lot of changes in the code, including re-writes, esp. regarding certificate handling, since he had to do this for Globus. Globus is all fixed except for MyProxy. Debian will introduce 1.1.0 some time soon, though the date is not announced yet. Fedora might have it in Fedora 26. We should aim at having the major release OpenSSL 1.1.0-ready and tested. Currently is available only in Debian experimental, which does not build: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=828458 . Mattias will submit a bug in Bugzilla referring to this report.

David added a feature that he wants to be released, Oxana wants fix to #3591 to be released, so a minor release 5.2.0 should be soon-ish, e.g. in October.

== Bugs

* 3504 is re-opened
* 3591 is fixed, should be in the next release

August digest is OK to be sent.

Aleksandr checks what are development priorities: Balazs says configuration is currently the priority.
