= News

Maiken: listed all the candidate commits for 5.2.0, collects feedback. Will be a copy of 5.1 branch, since it is a minor release. Prepared a table of commits.
Aleksandr is working on OpenSSL1.1, takes time and talking to people in openssl forum. New API is not less messy than old one. Dropping support for old proxies saves ~60% of code. No backwards compatibility with 1.0.x. which means we have to keep the old code for older platforms (in separate files), and chose during builds. But 0.9.x definitely can not be supported. We should have a major release before March (i.e. before RHEL5 goes out of service) and deprecate OpenSSL 0.9.x. Maiken got a task to announce that RHEL5 and derivatives will not be supported starting from the next year (March, actually). Anders will not build on anything that vendors do not support anymore (except for Fedora and Ubuntu, which have shorter lifetimes). For Debian it would mean building on 7 and above, Ubuntu - 12.04 and above.
Anders got new cooling for the NG infrastructure (was 40 C in the summer).
David submitted a couple of configuration bugs coming from a non-root installation use case (some defaults were assumed).
Oxana is tending for some non-quite-ARC bugs.

= Release

Maiken continues collecting the feedback for 5.2.0. The first goal is to get a code freeze on October 7.

= Bugs

A couple of duplicates, and many (9) NEW bugs. Oxana is concerned about job submission CLI support - the bugs might be related to arclib, too, but there seems to be little or no action in that area.

= A.O.B.

No news on the ARC camp.
