Description
Anders Bárány is retired professor of physics at Stockholm University. He was secretary of the Nobel Committee for Physics in the years 1989-2004. He has been heavily involved in building up and promoting the Nobel Museum in Stockholm. He has also been engaged in the annual Lindau meetings between students/young scientists and Nobel Laureates in physics, chemistry and physiology/medicine.

In his talk, Bárány will give some personal reminiscences from his meetings with Nobel Laureates. He will also describe how the Lindau lectures are being made available over the web. Among the lecturers are legends like Niels Bohr, Paul Dirac and Werner Heisenberg. Unique photos from the their lectures will be shown.
