i) follow up

We revised an earlier decision regarding the  [monitoring/perflog]  [monitoring/ganglia] blocks. The problem here was that what should go to the [monitoring] parent block

DECISION: it is mandatory to have a parent [monitoring] block if one would like to e.g. configure [monitoring/ganglia] or other monitoring subsystem. The perflog block is also kept under monitoring, i.e. [monitoring/perflog].  The common [monitoring] block will be used in the future e.g. for common monitoring related parameters, for example directory path:

[monitoring]

path= xxx

[monitoring/ganglia]

[monitoring/perflog]

ii) defaults

After a long discussion we couldn't reach any agreement.

DECISION: no change in the status quo. arc.conf.reference must have the default value properly set as a documentation.

TODO: Balazs will post the list of parameters that have no default specified in the arc.conf.reference yet.

iii)  what shall happen to EGIS subblocks now that we have ARCHERY?

DECISION1: we drop EGIS (index server) from next major release and as a consequence the two OBSOLETE blocks:

[infosys/index/indexname]
[infosys/index/indexname/registration/registrationname]

to be removed from arc.conf.reference

DECISION2: we keep the possibility to register clusters to old EGIS servers, therefore we introduce a new block for that:

[cluster/registration:indexname]

at the same time  the [infosys:registration] goes away.

i) topics shifted to the next and hopefully last config call before finalizing the arc.conf.reference:

- authorizedvo, per-queue authgroup

- the parameter  all

## all - Matches any user identity. This variable requires no arguments or values.
## default: all is not set
#all
