<p>Anders achieved much&nbsp;improvement in the build system and SVN notifications, all supported platforms now build, including the conf. restructuring branch. David and Aleksandr are trying to sort out how to use EMI-ES over the same connection but with different proxies (bug #3685); somehow the procedure works different in EMI-ES and GridFTP. Maiken is busy worrking on the local submission plugin. Oxana starts thinking of September digest.</p>

== Release</p>

<p>5.4.0 is installed in many places and appears to be working fine, so can be pushed to EPEL stable. Will be in UMD 4.5.1. Bugfix 5.4.1 preparations have started (see http://folk.uio.no/maikenp/pages/USIT/rm/revlists/5.4.1/). Would be nice to do fixes to Barbara&#39;s bugs about the client. Not clear whether they can be in time for the release though. Preliminary deadline for merging is Friday.</p>
