= Nagios and gangliarc packages

Starting from the next major release, ARC release will only consist of core packages, so packages like nagios probes will have a different release cycle.

The agreed workflow for nagios-arc probes:

* Repositories: all code may well reside in the same GitLab area, managed by Petter (own repository)
* Release notes and tagging: will be made by Petter
* Packaging: will be done by Anders
* Upload to Linux distro repos: by Mattias
* Support and bugs: GGUS ARC unit will keep supporting nagios-probes (Oxana)
* Package name is unchanged and stays nordugrid-arc-nagios-plugins
* UMD: nagios probes will become a separate item for UMD, supported by Maiken, UMD and ARGO may discover incompatibilities through their tests
* Dependency on ARC client: the core nordugrid-arc package should report conflict in spec-file with older nagios-plugins, if such are discovered (now nagios-plugins requires ARC > 1.0.0), to be done during packaging (i.e., by Anders)
* Web page: a new page for nagios-probes will be created (Oxana)
* Bugzilla: nagios section can be closed
* Documentation: nagios-probes documentation handled separately, eventually linked to the NorduGrid Web site (Oxana)

Nagios plugins depend on output of ARC CLI tools, so if they change, probes will break. Newer client may break old probes, and newer probes may break with old client.

Bottom line: most workflow continues as usual, only a separate Web page is created for the separate release notes.

gangliarc will probably have the same workflow, but needs a clear owner first. Will be discussed later.

On a related note, since Jon is not doing it any more, it would be nice if Maiken becomes a packager for Linux repos.

= Release

No complaints about the new bugfix release.

* 3697 and 3698 - from Ljubljana discussions
* 3699: disable-python option may not even be needed
