Description
Dark Matter constitutes more than 80% of the matter in the universe but cannot be accommodated within the Standard Model of particle physics. Dark Matter particles might be produced in the proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and finding evidence for such processes is one of the main objectives of the physics programme of the LHC experiments. I will give an overview of the typical search strategies and the models that are employed and then discuss how the results relate to other searches for Dark Matter and what the prospects are for the future.
