i) monitoring related blocks:

DECISION:  [monitoring/perflog]  [monitoring/ganglia] and these are extensible e.g. with [monitoring/ganglia/jobs]

i.e. no [arex/ganglia] block and [common/perflog]

 

ii) use some other way of indicating which variable is mandatory? like an asterix?

DECISION:  ## *lrms = lrmstype [defaultqueue]

 

iii) explicit blocks e.g. [arex/jura]  assumes that a [arex] block is there with all its defaults...

DECISION: no implicit blocks, everything needs to be declared even if the blocks uses variables with default values.

 

iv) next meeting: back to regular schedule, Thursdays 10am

 

POSTPONED topics:

1) decide later the most logical ordering of the blocks (for better readibility)

2) terminology: attribute value or option value or variable value?  parameter... make it consistent
